This wire wrapped pendant is handmade with 14K Rose Gold Filled wire and includes an 16" matching chain.

The necklace design lovingly envelopes this Oregon Sunstone Cabochon which is approximately 1.50 carats.

The horizontally mounted Oregon Sunstone is hand crafted and beautifully highlights the copper shimmer unique to Sunstone mined in Southeastern Oregon call Schiller effect.  You know it is from Oregon when this phenomenon is present because no other Sunstone will exhibit this!

Remember! All Oregon Sunstones are unique and one of a kind. No two are alike. This pendant will never be duplicated.

The dimensions of the pendant are: 26.4mm long (1.00 inch) and 12.2mm wide (1/2 inch).

Gold-filled is a layered material constructed in two or three layers. The core metal is jewelers' brass. Single clad gold-filled has all the gold content in a single layer to completely enclose the core metal. Gold filled items are perfect if you're looking for a material that is higher quality than gold plated, but an affordable alternative to solid gold. Unlike gold plated, gold filled can last a lifetime if taken care of properly, and isn't affected by water or hot weather. It is also tarnish-free under normal conditions. The chain is made in the exact same way with the same properties as the wire used in wrapping the Sunstone gem.
