There will never be another one like it!
Steve Douglas at the Sunstone Store loves to incorporate beautifully polished rocks into jewelry pieces he designs. This pendant is hand made using Sterling Silver and a bit of 14K yellow gold to add additional richness.
Measuring a total of two inches long, this one of a kind pendant displays a large and lovely Sunstone cabochon weighing 7.77 carats and measuring 14 x 11mm. The Pink Lady Plume Agate is nearly a circle about 1.25 inches across. The 20 inch leather cord with sterling silver clasp is included.
Note the beautiful detail on the back of the pendant to highlight the unique void in the agate seen from the top along with a gorgeous Oregon Sunstone cabochon with visible Schiller effect. Schiller is what we call the copper platelets suspended in the feldspar crystal exhibited only in Sunstone from Oregon.
Pink Lady Plume Agate is mined in Eastern Oregon, near the Feather Ridge Plume agate mines and Graveyard Point. Pink plumes in agate are rare, and in the Regency Rose area, less than 0.1% of mined rock has obvious pink plumes.
