Established in 2001, "The Sunstone Store," (formerly Douglas Jewelry Design) developed over time as the demand for our Oregon state gemstone surpassed all other gems utilized in our one-of-a-kind jewelry designs. Over the past 15 years, we became known for our unique jewelry and even more well known for our huge selection of Oregon sunstone in it's many color variations. In 2017, our commitment and passion for this unique gemstone inspired us to rename and re-brand our store in downtown Bend, calling it "The Sunstone Store." We operate our own Sunstone mining claims in Southeast Oregon where we practice sustainable mining techniques.
