"Fantastic Cauldron Pendant" was designed and made by Steven James Douglas, co owner of The Sunstone Store. This is a one of a kind art piece, a necklace that will never be reproduced. Great skill and very advanced metalsmithing techniques were used to create it.
A spellbinding fusion of fire and earth, the Fantastic Cauldron pendant is pure alchemy in jewelry form. At its heart, a stunning Feather Ridge Plume Agate forms the cauldron itself, its natural plumes swirling like mystical vapors. Rising above, five glowing Oregon Sunstone cabochons shimmer like enchanted bubbles, their ethereal effect capturing the essence of flickering embers. A hand-made silver backdrop, shaped like flames, enhances the illusion of a bubbling, magical brew.

The agate cabochon was cut and polished by Steven in our lapidary shop. This incredibly colorful patterned agate is called "Feather Ridge Plume" from Idaho. It is combined with five glowing peach colored Oregon Sunstone cabochons which are a perfect compliment to the swirling, lace-like, peach, burgundy and gold colors of the agate.
The dimensions for this unique pendant: 1& 5/8 inches long and about 1 inch wide at the widest point. The 18" brown leather cord is included.
The sterling silver mount was completely hand fabricated and shows many details and textures including a chased flame design on the side of the bezel. The silver is oxidized to show detail and create contrast.
