Sparkling copper flecks called Schiller are easily visible in this 1.70 ct. oval Sunstone. This phenomenon only occurs in feldspar mined in Southeastern Oregon and is what makes this a genuine Oregon Sunstone.

Why do we use 10K gold? Here at The Sunstone Store, we believe that it is a great value for the money. The same ring in 14K will cost approximately $300 more. 14K & 10K look exactly the same to the human eye. 10K gold is also slightly harder metal so is a more durable.
